a single decimo, a whole ticket, or a share of a ticket. If you don't
buy the whole ticket, someone else will buy the rest of your ticket. For
example, if you buy two decimos, someone else buys three and another
buys five and your ticket wins €1000, then you will win €200, €300 and
€500 respectively. Due to the expense of purchasing a whole ticket, it
is very common for families and friends to pool their lottery money and
each buy a single tenth ‘decimo’.
